No Carb Breakfast...on the go.

Sometimes finding something good to eat on the Ketogenic diet is hard. I mean I can eat all the meat, cheese, eggs, and fat I want. But even that gets old at times. For breakfast every day I had been eating 2 eggs and 3 sausage links. It lasts a good amount of time and keeps me from being hungry. It served it's purpose well. But eventually you want something else.

I came across egg breakfast muffins on Pinterest and decided to give them a try. They looked easy enough, so I didn't even follow their recipe and created my own. I thought they were delicious and made breakfast prep a lot easier. I made a dozen and they last about a week in the fridge. I think they are perfect for anyone on the go, not just someone on the ketogenic diet. I just used sausage and cheese for mine, but you could add anything you like such as onions, mushrooms, peppers, or bacon. Each week you could mix it up some, so even though they are the same, they are somewhat different.

Easy Breakfast Muffins

  • 10 large eggs
  • 7 sausage links (I use Bob Evans as they are 0 carbs)
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Colby Jack cheese (Kraft is 0 carbs)
Cook sausage links as directed and cut into small pieces. Evenly distribute in a greased muffin tin, or use silicone muffin containers for easier clean up. Add cheese to muffin tins.

Scramble the 10 eggs together, add salt and pepper to your liking. Then pour the egg mixture into the muffin pan.

I baked these on 350* for about 15 minutes. Give or take depending on your oven. These will be about 100 calories per muffin with 0 carbs. The calorie count will depend on what sausage and cheese you use.

Like I said these muffins are great for anyone to eat on the go. I store them in sandwich baggies by 2's and just pop them in the microwave for a minute to heat them up. J loved them and ate 2 for lunch the day I made them.

Enjoy :)

iPhone 6 or Note 4 Armband Review

I recently received an armband from Tomoson Reviews for me to review. This arm band is perfect for the iPhone 6 or the Galaxy Note 4, which is what I used to test it out.

Here are some listed features of this item:
FULL VINYL PROTECTIVE POUCH – Our iPhone 6 (4.7″) armband is the ONLY armband with a FULL vinyl protective pouch for ultra sweat, water & moisture protection. Your iPhone 6 easily slides in (ultra slim cases ONLY) and is TOTALLY protected. The outside clear cover offers more scratch-proof safety and easy screen access.
SNUG, SECURE, AND SAFE! Enjoy a tight, non-slip fit with our precision molded neoprene, wider strap that is amazingly soft and secure against your skin, and enhanced Velcro for a non-slip fit. Fits biceps 8.5″ up to 15″ with two strap placement options for small & large arms. Stays in place no matter what and will not chafe your skin.

SECRET POCKET FOR CASH ANDCREDIT CARDS – Designed by runners who know what they need, the secret pocket stores cash and credit cards and keeps them safe and DRY due to the full vinyl pouch.

DRY! – Although not totally waterproof (no armband is), the full vinyl protective pouch offers the best sweat-moisture protection possible. Easily hand washed with soap and water and dries quickly so you can get back in the action.
Even with a rubber case on the phone it still fit into the armband, which is a bonus as many armbands you have to remove the case to use them. The band fit snug around my arm, and stayed in place while doing a light jog. It is made of a soft material that didn't irritate my arm, and kept my phone dry when I started working up a sweat (it is 80* out!).

I received this item free in exchange for my honest review.

My new favorite scissors.

I recently received these awesome stainless steel scissors from Evergreen supply. These are professional 9 inch high carbon stainless steel scissors. They come packaged in a nice box and pre-oiled. They are heavy duty, sharp, and have a rubberized handle making them comfortable to use.

I have had several projects I wanted to get started on, so I was excited to test these out. So far they have worked wonderful! I have cut many pieces of fabric, paper, cardboard, and even a plastic container. These scissors had no issue cutting through all of it.

While I have only had them a couple weeks they have remained sharp and have yet to let me down. I have a feeling these scissors will be around for quite some time, and I can't wait to put them to use on my next craft project.

I received this item for free in exchange for my honest opinion.
