stream of consciousness

I saw a big red tractor drive by my house today...guess that means I really do live in the country now. I'm also writing to you from a dial up connection that is super s..l..o..w.. and I'm not even sure this post will post, as I can't look at my blog because it takes f.o.r.e.v.e.r to load and I get bored. I do find it funny that Facebook works amazingly well on this dial up connection. But my banking site...not so much. It took me 45 mins to check our account yesterday, and it timed out on me twice. I guess bank sites are not made for dial up connections...who knew? We had my dad's side of the family over today. It turned into a celebration of mine and Mr. B's birthday's along with our new house. My wonderful step mom did everything. From bringing all the food to even getting plastic silverware and paper plates. She even brought the cutest cake! I really wish I'd have gotten a picture of it before my step mom cut it...it was so freaking adorable I couldn't believe it. And I don't think it could ever be re-created. Oh well...it lives on in my memory. I'm on CD 10 and finished this round of clomid last night. I was sitting here talking to Mr. B this evening and I started to get really hot. Then I remembered I took the clomid this month and realized the hot flashes were starting already. Usually it takes a few days after my last dose before those kick in...lucky me it started earlier. Must be because it was 200mg. But I have found that the months I do have hot flashes are months that the clomid actually makes me ovulate (based on progesterone levels) so I'm hoping this will be a good sign. That combined with it being the cycle following my HSG procedure I will be holding on to a lot of hope this month. I really hope we don't get let down again. And since I am breaking out into a sweat again I will call it a night. The hot flashes (combined with the extreme heartburn clomid also gives me) make it hard for me to sleep so I should start as early as I can. I do have to work in the morning you know...and I won't complain to much since it's a holiday and I get paid double time and a half..ka-ching!

stream of consciousness

My car is still at the shop. They told me I probably won’t have it back till next Monday or Tuesday. They have to replace the head gasket and supercharger/serpentine belt. Plus they said I should get new spark plugs and wires and an air filter. General maintenance I suppose. Wasn’t looking forward to the expenses as the head gasket is the only thing covered under the warranty. Which I have $100 deductable for said warranty. Plus the extras they are doing. My total will be $272. I guess it’s not that bad. But if you remember we had to order a new sway bar. And we got new brakes since those should be done as well. Now we are up to $430. So glad to be paying $430 to fix a car that I am still making car payments on. Aren’t they suppose to last until the car payments are paid off? Good grief.

Clomid makes me very hot. Like break out into a sweat going to throw up hot. It is not a nice drug. I just hope it works this month, I don’t want to take it again. And I really don’t want to go see an RE. They are very expensive and after the $400 we just spent on my car we are broke, lol. I should be ovulating this weekend. But Mr.B is sick. I told him he better be well by this weekend. But then I started feeling sick. I’ve been using Zicam and my symptoms are subsiding, guess it really does work. Now if it can just get him better life would be grand.

Our move date is getting closer and closer and I feel like we should begin packing. We have so much crap. But then I think it’s really so far away that packing now would be silly. I suppose I should at least start getting some boxes so we will have enough when it comes time to move. Did you enter my giveaway here? It’s for a very nice necklace from my friend Donna who lives in Canada. She was a Stella & Dot seller until very recently. After she resigned she emailed and asked if I’d like to offer it up as a giveaway on my blog. Well of course I would…I love giving things away. And all you have to do is leave me a comment on that post to be entered. Super easy and you could get a $60 necklace out of it. I hope you all enter! I love doing stream of consciousness posts. I don’t have to worry about proper sentence structures. Makes writing much easier. I should do them more. Don’t forget to enter my giveaway!

randomness.

I'm planning a trip. A trip to where, I have no idea. I got a GPS for Christmas and I'm itching to use it. So as soon as the weather gets nice I'm heading out. I'm surrounded by beautiful little towns, I should see them. Maybe we'll head to Lake Michigan. Maybe to Mackinaw Island. You wouldn't think someone would want to visit Hell, but Hell, MI is on my list. I hear Ann Arbor has been voted a top beautiful city. I'd love to go to Holland again. Tulip time is in May I think. If god blesses us we will have a child by next year and we won't be able to just jump in the car and go any more. So we should take advantage of that now. Although I have a list of all the places I want to take my children. So I see us "jumping in the car" a lot. My poor husband hates to travel. Guess he married the wrong person. I usually bribe him and he obliges. Is that a bad thing? Oh well, works for us. You know were moving this summer. I'm really excited about moving to a bigger house. But after this winter I'm not excited about next winter and my much longer drive to work. Or the huge drive way our new house has. Good thing snow removal is my husbands job. I love the fact that we already have a babies room designated in the new house. I just can't wait till we can put a baby in it. My FIL's house is almost done being built. I guess they just have to lay the carpet. I should get some new pictures for him. I know he'd like that. Hmm..I think I've run out of random things to say. I'm sure your happy about that, well if you've made it this far that is. Thanks for reading my stream of consciousness.
