Snow Day

Today is one of those days where I hate living in Michigan, one of those days I wish I’d have said Hell yes to my husband when he suggested moving to California.

It has been snowing for days. Which happens often in MI so I should be used to it. But it’s just so gloomy and depressing. I’m ready for sunny days and green grass. But instead I get this:And you can’t really tell because I took it with my phone but it is snowing right now, just some light flurries, but non-stop none the less.

And the poor dogs are cooped up in the house and they hate it. Sometimes I’ll catch Chewbacca staring out the window, longing to be outside running around. But when you put them outside they beg to come back in because it’s just to darn cold out. We do have a jacket for Mara cause she is so tiny, but it takes longer to put it on her than she is outside. So half the time I just let her out and right back in.So now my floor is covered in dog toys and chunks of bones, looks a real mess. I’m not sure what the dogs will do with all of their stuff once the baby is here, cause obviously I can’t have chunks of bones laying around. I guess they won’t be able to get those in the house much longer. Or else I need to become a better housekeeper, lol.
