It seems that in today's times everyone I know has a blog. So I figured why not me? So here I am. My name is Melissa and I am married to James. We met in 1999 and after many rough and trying years we decided to get married. Our wedding date was Sept 8, 2007, or 09.08.07 as an easy number for my husband to remember, or so I thought. Just the other day he was telling someone that we got married in Sept, I said really what day. He thought and said the 10th! I said "I gave you the easiest date to remember and you still can't!" But that's how it is for us.
We are both Gemini's and at times it really does feel like there are 4 people in our relationship. But aside from both of us are always right and never wrong we usually get along pretty good. I've learned to just say "whatever" and walk away. Hey at least I get the last word that way.
We have a dog named Chewbacca, James is what I call a "Star Wars Nerd". He is a pit-chow mix and spoiled Rotten. I think he has to be at least 5 years old now. He's getting old and cranky that's for sure.
James is big Xbox 360 gamer and I spend a lot of time surfing the net. We are a very "wired" couple. We went away for the weekend and packed the laptop, a Nintendo DS, 2 psp's, and 2 Zunes. I couldn't believe that we were leaving our house for 3 days and needed a back pack full of electronics. Granted we did have a 6 hr drive, but I think it was a little ridiculous.
