The Nursery and Name reveal

We are about 75% completed with the nursery but I thought I would share a few pictures with you.

The first one is taken with out the flash so you could actually see his name on the wall against the blue. Right now the letters are white but I plan on painting them because they don’t stand out very much against the light blue.cribwall_closetnoflashThe crib wall. I need to move the Pooh with balloons over a bit more as right now he could grab it once he can stand. The crib was supposed to be over to the left more but when I hung the letters I put them to far to the right and I want them centered with the crib.cribwall The window wall. My grandma is making curtains for us and I will probably get a toy box that will sit below the window.windowThis wall will have the dresser on it as well, I just need to purchase it still. I will put the dresser where the changing table is and move that closer to the window wall. changinwallAnd that completes the tour. Mr.B wants to put up some type of trim along the center of the room. We talked about a Pooh border but I’m thinking maybe just a white piece of trim, as I plan to change his room in a few years and don’t want to worry about removing wall paper.

Also as you can tell from the pictures we are naming him John. Mr.B had said many years ago he wanted to name his son after his dad, so he became John. We then decided his middle name will be after my dad, so he is John Michael.

And what is more fitting is John means God is Gracious, and that he is.
